Vein Services

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy involves injections of medication into varicose veins. The medication causes the vein to scar down and forces blood through other healthier veins in your body. The scarred vein then fades. Full results can take several weeks to be fully evident. It may take several treatments to treat all the veins. Often times, this is covered by your insurance company. Call InVein to schedule a consultation with Dr. Moore today to evaluate your varicose or spider veins and see if sclerotherapy is right for you.

Endovenous laser ablation

Endovenous laser ablation is an in-office procedure designed to treat lower extremity varicose veins using a laser. The procedure involves placing a small tube inside a large vein on the leg and heat sealing the vein closed.  Blood then returns to the heart through other veins in the leg. This non-surgical office procedure replaces vein stripping to treat varicose veins. The procedure is covered by insurance with the proper evaluation. Call InVein today to schedule an appointment with Dr. Moore to see what varicose vein treatments may be right for you.

Venous Reflux Ultrasound Testing

This ultrasound performed by Dr. Moore evaluates the veins in your legs to see which veins work and which veins don’t work. This test is covered by insurance and  can reveal the cause of your varicose veins and help determine which treatments are right for you. As the test is performed by Dr. Moore, you will get your results immediately during your appointment. This is typically done during your first consultation with Dr. Moore to evaluate your varicose veins.

Venous Ultrasound Testing

New swelling or pain in your legs may indicate a blood clot in your veins. An ultrasound of your veins can be performed quickly and painlessly at InVein. This test can diagnose a blood clot so you can begin therapy immediately. These ultrasounds are covered by your insurance. If you are concerned you or your physician are concerned you have a blood clot, you can call InVein to schedule an ultrasound.

Compression stockings

Medical grade compression stockings are the mainstay of treatment for varicose veins and leg swelling. Most insurance companies require patients to wear compression stockings for a period of time prior to approving treatment for your varicose veins. Often these are not covered by your insurance company. You can purchase stockings from InVein or receive a prescription to purchase them from another retailer.
